Breakout Box (BOB)
A device that splits an electric multicable line into several banana jacks (connectors). It is used to support integration testing, expedite maintenance, and streamline the troubleshooting process by simplifying the access to test signals.

Two typical applications of a Breakout Box (BOB):
This application will require two BOB cables that have opposite genders on one side and a breakout box mating connector on the other ends. Jumper banana plugs can be used to keep continuity while taking measurements.

The Breakout Box (BOB) is directly connected to the connector that measurements are required. This application will require one BOB cable that has the opposite gender of the connector of interest on one side and a breakout box mating connector on the other end. The connector of interest can be on the Unit under testing or at the end of another cable as shown below.
